TPG DSL offers a wide range of plans with many different combinations of features, so that almost any user can find a good value plan with TPG DSL. Unfortunately, the reach of TPG DSL and especially its ADSL2+ service does not yet compare with the reach of the larger DSL providers. This is unfortunate, as some TPG DSL plans offer excellent value at their price points. What's more, upload data is not charged on TPG DSL plans, which makes many of its plans much better value than comparably priced plans of competitors. While the gap between the amount of data available on some of the lower priced TPG DSL plans can be quite pronounced at times, TPG DSL plans offer great value for light users, mid level users, heavy users and for users with very specific needs.

A common complaint about TPG can be that customer service is not always the best. This can be very frustrating when service outages occur. It is somewhat unfortunate, but customer service quality is often traded for better value on plans when it comes to DSL providers. This means that you may find TPG DSL to be excellent value when everything runs smoothly - you just might get fed up with it if customer service cannot easily fix your problem when things go wrong.

If you are living in an area that TPG DSL covers, it could be a very good idea to take a look at their plans. Concerns about customer service tend to worry some individuals, but many are fine to tolerate it if they can get the best value. ADSL2+ provides the best value from TPG DSL, and very few of the plans must be packaged with a phone plan, so TPG DSL is more interested in DSL customers than phone focused customers. As long as your area can get access to the network, you may be able to find a great deal with TPG DSL.
